Postharvest heat treatments: effects on commodity, pathogens and insect pests.

This special issue of the journal contains 11 papers presented at the workshop and a paper summarizing the main discussion points arising at the workshop. The papers cover aspects of commodity and insect responses to heat treatment (including underlying physiological mechanisms) and use of heat treatment for pest and disease control for quarantine purposes.
