บทคัดย่อ

Shearing of the seed coat - the cracking mechanism of the legume seeds.

The shearing of the seed coat is the most frequently observed mechanism of legume seed cracking. The cracking of the seed coat, around the plane of contact of the cotyledons, leads to seed separation into two. Seed coat cracking deformation was determined for faba beans, beans, soyabeans, and pea seeds.
