บทคัดย่อ
The objective of this work was to develop a model that can be used to simulate the whole pod peanut drying process and to optimize the fixed bed drier design for peanut drying. Laboratory tests were conducted and regression analysis performed to obtain equilibrium water content, latent heat and thin layer drying equations. A peanut fixed bed drying model was implemented based on these equations. A nonlinear programming technique was used in order to find the condition of minimum energy consumption of the drier. The model was implemented using Visual Basic version 6.0.
