บทคัดย่อ

A set of new combined machinery for saving soil moisture.

An account is given of a set of combination tillage implements produced in Russia by OAO 'Volgodizel' apparat' for soil cultivation in the drier southern areas where soil moisture is the limiting factor for grain crops and erosion is a problem. The design features of the implements are illustrated and described. The APK-6 (for pre- and post-sowing cultivation on heavy soils) has sets of disks, horizontal cutting V-shaped hoe blades, a leveller, and spiral rollers with toothed strips or a rotary clod-breaking blade. The KUK-6 is a strong combined cultivator with arrow-shaped blades for pre-sowing and postharvest soil loosening (at a depth of 6-12 cm) and razor-type blades for fallows (at a depth of 5-8 cm). Other implements are the KPK-4 combined cultivator, the PShch K-6,8 combined cultivator-slitter, and the SPP rowcrop seed drill.
