บทคัดย่อ

Fruit firmness, ground color and ethylene evolution in two cultivars of peach (Prunus persica L. Batsch).

Peach cv. July Elberta fruits were harvested from an orchard in Villa Retiro, Argentina on 16 or 20 December 1996, while Red Globe fruits were harvested on 20 or 25 December. In both cultivars, ethylene production by fruits after harvest was greater with the later harvesting date, and this was accompanied by loss of firmness and a more yellow colour.
