บทคัดย่อ

Annurca apple in Campania region.

The apple cultivar Annurca is typically grown in Campania. There are 4 main growing areas. This cultivar is grown on seedling rootstocks, trained as an open centre canopy, given a lot of grwoing space and traditionally is pollinated by Sergente trees. In the flatter parts of Campania, around Caserta and Naples, The mutation Annurca Rossa del Sud which was selected in 1979 is growing in popularity. This has redder fruits and is grown on M.26 rootstocks. The classic form of Annurca is harvested in September and fruits undergo a special postharvest treatment (in melaio) to develop the red colour.
