บทคัดย่อ

Effect of certain chemicals on the postharvest life of cut tuberose cv. Double.

A series of experiments was conducted with different minerals, plant growth regulators and organic acids in the preservative solution for cut tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa) flowers. From these, calcium nitrate, benzyladenine and citric acid were selected, and combinations of these treatments with and without sucrose, were tested in the vase solution. The longest vase life was recorded for 0.01% calcium nitrate + 250 ppm citric acid + 3% sucrose (14.67 days).
