Pesche e nettarine nella fase post-raccolta.

A total of 23 peach cultivars and 25 nectarine cultivars was examined for the effect of storage on sugars, firmness, acidity, rot and internal breakdown, pH, colour and flavour. Storage for up to 35 days under normal refrigeration (RN) or in a controlled atmosphere (AC) was followed by 3 or 5 days at 20 deg C. Eight days of storage was suitable for most cultivars, while some tolerated 15-20 days of storage. Peach cv. Maria Marta and nectarine cultivars Stark Red Gold, Sweet Red, Morsiana 90, Caldesi 2000, and Silver Ray, and Maria Dolce maintained quality for 35 days.
