บทคัดย่อ

NPA "Biota": experience of production and application of microbiological agents.

Production of biological control agents for protection of crops from pests and diseases in the 1990s is reported from the Krasnodar region, Russia. Planriz [Pseudomonas fluorescens] was successfully used on winter wheat and Bactofit [Bacillus subtilis] as seed treatment was used on winter barley. Trichodermin was used against root rots in Spartanka winter wheat and Skorokhod winter barley. Experiments were carried out with Trichoderma viride for presowing seed treatment of winter barley. Nemabakt (entomophilic nematode Steinernema carpocapsae and symbiotic entomopathogenic bacteria Xenorhabdus) was tested for control of potato moth in storage. Increases in yield achieved with these new biological control agents are outlined.
