บทคัดย่อ

Establishment of commercial postharvest handling system for longan fruit.

Postharvest management techniques for longan fruits in China and Thailand are presented. The topics consisted of: selection of cultivars with good storage and transporting quality; harvest maturity and harvesting system; sorting and grading; postharvest treatments (antiseptic dipping, SO2 fumigation, irradiation, heat treatment, and disinfestation); precooling; packaging; storage (at ambient temperature, low temperature, modified atmosphere, and controlled atmosphere); transport; and marketing.
