บทคัดย่อ

Techniques and equipment for post-harvest treatments and storage of grain.

The organization and timing of the grain harvest by zones, and various methods of cleaning, drying and storing grain are discussed, as ways of improving output in the North Caucasus region of Russia. Labour requirement is lowest with a permanent hopper-type grain store having grain ventilating, loading and discharging systems (layout illustrated). Yields of grain can be increased by >0.17 t/ha merely by using these techniques and a specialized grain store to cut losses.
